H All I HMII STOCK SALE. The above sale was held on Thursday last when 210 sheep and 180 head cattle were yarded. The weather conitions were anything but favourable and mitigated against the attendance. Competition was very, irregular and big store cattle were hard to quit. Several lines did not meet with owners’ values and were passed. Forward and finished cattle were well sought after. .Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. report:— The following lines were sold:—Sheep —Ol store wethers at 2-ls 6d ; 183 f. and f. ewes and wethers at 28s; 2 aged ltomnev Rams at • 25s for Ferguson Bros. 20 extra prime wethers at 02s (id. for C. Hende. Cat-tie.—Four fat heifers at £lO 10s. for Mr. W. Wall. Five forward cows at £'9 for A. -McArthur. Two forward cows at £7 Ills ; and £lO 12s 6d for H. Reynolds. Eight yearling steers, at £5 for Ferguson Bros. Five yr. steers £5 for H. 11. Adamson. Four fat steers and heifers at £9 10s for G. Scott_Robertson. Three 18-mos heifers at £5 10s for J. Davidson. Two fat cows at £lO 17s (id and £ll 2s (id for A. Wall. Seven dry cows at £0 15s for E. Kirby. Thirteen 30-mos steers at £8 12s 6d for H. Linlflater. One fat cow at £ls 10s for W .Tl. Knrnbach.
