SYDNEY, December 8. In order to meet the requests of stranded New Zealanders in Sydney, accommodation lias been found for 20 of the most urgent eases aboard the steamer Devon which is sailing on Monday.
DESTRUCTIVE FIRE. SYDNEY December 8.
A fire damged the Cumberland laper Mills at Longueville to the extentof £60,000. Bush fires as the result of tlie heat wave during the past week have been responsible for tho outbreak.
