The following is Rev. D. C. Bates weather forecast: “The indications are for westerly winds strong to gale prevailing. The weather appears likoly to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to bo expected with rivers rising shortly. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency. Seas heavy, tides good.”
