A WORD OF ADVICE
TO THE USERS OF DR. MORSE’S INDIAN ROOT PILLfe
To the many thousands of people who are daily using Dr Morse’s Indian Hoot Pills, it- might not he amiss to suggest certain precautions in view of the dan ger of the Influenza epidemic which has made its appearance in New Zealand. The one thing of paramount importance is to keep the system in proper working order so that no germs get a chance to start incubation. There is nothing better sold for this purpose than Dr. Morse’s Indian Root Pills. They are a searching cleansing remedy, hut their action though mild and gentle is thoroughly effective. Petroleum Oils, Salts, Tonics, and other so-called remedies are of little use to cleanse the system and keep these germs in check, in fact they will have <« tendency to aggravate an already do- | ranged gastric condition . At such a time it stands each individual in hand to keep a close watch on themselves to maintain their usual standard of health. A dose of Dr Morse’s Indian Root Pills two or three times a week, or one or two pills each night is advised; it would also be advisable to take from 5 to 10 grains or ASPIRIN two or three times daily if feeling out of sorts, or 10 grains' of QUININE on retiring at night at the same time as the pills are taken. A common cold can usually he broken i.p if either QUININE or ASPIRIN is taken with Dr Morse’s Indian Root Pills as directed on the first indication. Should, however, an attack of Influenza develop, lose no time in sending for the family doctor, and go to bed at once. This is the best advice that can Tie given. Don’t try and doctor yourself. If you have the real influenza vour digestion will he a wreck, your head, legs and hack will ache, and your heart action will he affected, and you will have a temperature. These conditions need the attention of a skilled medical attendant. He' may continue the treatment- indicated above or he may not, but it will only be safe for the person affected to at once go to bed when the first- definite influenza symptoms appear, and place yourself wholly and unreservedly in the doctor’s care.
