WELLINGTON .This Day. THE HOUSE . The House met at 2.30 p.m. Christ's College Ordinance Amendment Bill was read a second time. The following bills were introduced and read a first time •.—Wellington City Milk Supply Bill, (Air. Luke). Sanitary Dwellings Bill. (Dr. Thacker), Arterial Highway Bill, (Dr. Thacker). The Aviation Bill was put through the Committee stage, was read a 3rd time and passed without discussion. Sir Joseph Ward moved the second reading of the Electric Power Boards Bill, which passed all stages, with the addition of an Amendment moved by the Minister fixing the rale of interest to local bodies at 51 per cent, unless the Minister of Finance agrees to a higher

rate. Hon. T. Wilford moved tbe second reading of the Crimes Act 1908 Amcnument Bill, which gives the right of Appeal in criminal cases. The second reading was carried after a brief debate and the House rose at 11.35 p.nt. till noon next day.
