AT GREYMOUTH. The local position (says the “Argus,”) is most satisfactory. There were no deaths reported yesterday, and the hospital bulletin had a more hopeful tone about it. The different hospitals are gradually being cleared of patients, and what new cases have been reported are of a mild nature. The lovely weather being experienced is assisting materially to bring many, of the patients nearer recovery. Reports from the Otira line yesterday stated that Mr Gorman, stationmaster at Moana, was not so well and his condition was critical. Mr 'Williams, who has been suffering from pleurisy, following influenza, is improving. Mrs Robinson, wife of Cr. Robinson, is also improving. At To Kinga all the patients are doing well except one, who is not yet convalescent. All along the line there are satisafetorv reports.
