For horses that have never won ail advertised race in 2.35 or hotter to the mile (or its equivalent). For horses which have been in one of the Counties of Buller, Inangahua, Grey, or Westland, or any West Coast Borough, for at least three months immediately prior to the race, and owned by residents of the said Counties or Boroughs. Nomination, 12s 6d; acceptance, 17 s 6d. 2. —KANIERI HANDICAP (in harness) of £6O; second horse to receive £lO, and third horse £5 from the stake. 1( miles. Horses in this event will he handicapped to do 4mins or better. Nomination, 12s 6d; acceptance, 20s. 3.
