Opinion continues to distrust the Kaiser ass- ' ting that Queen Wilhelmina’s aide-de-camp visited Spa and arranged for the flight, the Kaiser being treated in Holland as a monarch, receiving priority of the telegraphs. There is much going and coming of German officers and spies.
Tlie newspapers insist that the Kaiser’s so called abdication is mere bluff. The prospects of the Kaiser’s return to Germany is seriously discussed. There are some signs of the Moderates, fearing Bolshevism, endeavouring to make him acceptable to tlio army.
