AMERICA’S NAVAL OBJECTIVE. NEW YORK, Nov. 24. The “New York Times” Washington correspondent reports that Hon. Mr Daniel (Secretary of the Navy) has made a statement to the effect that America must continue to carry out its naval programme, because, “the United States must furnish its proper contribution to the International Navy of All the World, which will bo needed to enforce the findings of the tribunal which will be organised by all nations of the world. We being the richest nation, must make the largest- contribution.”
AMERICANS GOING TO COBLENZ WASHINGTON November 24.
In connection with the occupation the American Army’s advance on Germany is heading towards Coblenz where the Americans expect to arrive on the first- of December.
AMERICANS IN LUXEMBURG. LONDON November 24. The Third American Army is advancing through Luxemburg and has reached the German frontier from Wnllendorff to Schengen.
AMERICANS ENTER PRUSSIA NEW YORK November 24
The New York 1 “Times” correspondent on the West front says : ’Hie American Army of Occupation has entered the Rheinish Prussia. The German frontier has been crossed at several places.
AMERICAN TROOPS RETURNING WASHINGTON November 24.
General Marsh (U.S. Chief of the General Staff) announces that General Pershing has authorised the dispatch homeward of all American troops not needed for the Army of occupation. The demobilising of the American tioops at the Home Camps is now proceeding steadily.
