OBITUARY.

The death of the 4.V year old daughter of Mr and Airs W Ryan, Boddytown, Alary Ellen, took place yesterday morning from penumonia influenza at Greymouth.

The death from influenza was reported from Westport of Airs Dobson, wife of Air Douglas Dobson, ex-Town Clerk, and Borough Engineer. Deceased was only 46 years of age. She loaves a sorrowing husband and 11 of a family.

The Westport “News” says.—“ The report lately published of tho death of Air. Thomas AleFarlane, the genial veteran of Alureliison, is, as Alark Twain would say, “an exaggeration.” Mr. AleFarlane has, we are pleased to say, recovered from the serious illness that hofel him. His many friends hope the hardy pioneer has many years of life still ahead of him.”

The death took place at Westland Hospital at an early hour this morning from influenza of Mr Adrian W. F. Harris, for some time past an attendant at Sea View Alcntal Hospital. The deceased was a native of England and 27 years of age. He leaves a widow, (Irene, daughter of Air and Airs W. Burrowes of Kanieri), and three young children, to mourn their loss who wlil have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
