POSITION AT CHRISTCHURCH. [per press association.--copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, Nov: 7. Owing to the influenza epidemic arrangements have been made at the casualty wards of the local hospital to cope with any unusual influx of pa. tients. Nine of the sixteen eases of influenza on an overseas vessel were admitted to the casualty ward at Lyttelton last night. They are all making satisfactory progress. Tlie remaining cases will be taken in to-night. One serious case has already been removed to Christchurch hospital.
