CABLE ASSOCIATION] LONDON November 9. 19 The latest news of the situation at d Kiel shows that all the warships there and a great part of those in Schloswig 9 are now in the hands of the rebel troops who fly the Red flag. 9 • There are no disturbances. The “Reds” have hoisted red banners on all the warships. The rebels have occupied the castle, and imprisoned the [Military Governu,. -i They have also disarmed, or arrested ■* a n officers and non-coms who have not joined the “Reds.’’ At the last, the rebels were cou- , the food distribution, tram- ; ways and railways. . , J The Workmen’s and Soldier’s Council at Kiel have demanded from the , Reichstag that all military measures • against the soldiers’ movement shall immediately -cease and that all milltary prisoners shall be released. The military prisoners accordingly wore released last night. J Nerr Noske, a member of the Roicn- | stag, in a speech at Kiel, declared that , an armistice would be concluded in , a few days, and that all the just wishes , of the soldiers and workmen would be j speedily fulfilled. Cheers for, a Republic ‘ frequently interrupted Herr Noske. MORE- SOLDIERS SENT. COPENHAGEN, Nov. 7. Several thousand soldiers who hitherto have garrisoned Fchmaru Island have been ordered by the Gorman Government to go to Kiel. The Workmen’s and Soldiers’ Council at Kiel have decided stubbornly to resist the Government forces. REVOLT still growing. COPENHAGEN November 7.. The revolutionary movement at Kiel is growing. Some officers fired on the crowd from a house, which the crowd | bombarded. Eight officers were seized • and disarmed. It is reported that Altona and Flens- 1 burg are in the hands of the revolu- 1 tionaries. The Aponnade aerodrome, in northern Schleswig has been occupied by the rebels and the airmen arrested. It is stated that the Kiel disturbances were caused through tile refusal of the naval officers to obey the new Government at Berlin and accept the peace eff6rt. ; On the other hand, it is alleged that ; the officers intended to make a groat ' naval attack on England and that j when the soldiers heard of this plan i they took armed action against the offi- < cera and arrested them. Wolff’s Press Agency circulates a Ger ma version, confirming the fact that, there have been great riots at Kiel, but stating' that order as been restored and a demand issued the } delivery of all arms. j c JOIN REBELS, j d LONDON November 7. Copenhagen reports that the majoiity of the German submarine crews have joined the revolutionaries. The revolt- is now in complete control y of the city of Hamburg. s REVOLUTION GROWING.
