[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGIIT.J WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. The Council met at 2.30. p.m. Sir F. D. Hell, gave notice of tlie introduction of a Legislative Council Aineiulinent Bill. Tlie Council tlicn adjourned until Friday. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Tlie House: met at 2.30 p.m. Mr, Isitt moved tlie second reading of Christ College Ordinance Amendment Bill. The motion was agreed to. Hon. W. F. Massey read a telegram which the Governor-General had received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to the effect that a regiment of Australian and New Zealanders dismounted troops would he included in the forces which take charge of the Dardanelles. The following bills were introduced and read a first time—Napier Harbour Board Loan Enabling Bill, (Mr Brown) Inglewood County Bill, (Mr Wilkinson) New Plymouth Borough and Harbour Board, Exchange Bill, (S. G. Smith), The debate on tlie Address in Reply was continued by Messrs Jennings, Isitt Pavne, Statham, Hon. MacDonald, and Veit eli. Mr Anderson replied, and tlie debate was closed at 1*1.5 p.m. when tbe House rose.
