The Chief Postmaster advises —Owing to line interruptions, traffic at urgent rates only will be accepted for stations in the North Island. The Copper Trail Competitions for Westland closes on Saturday week. It is hoped that the final result will run into four figures. The coronation will take place on the 20th, the preparations for which are now well forward. •A display of some of the articles to be disposed of at the Literary Club s sale may be seen in the window of “Tlie Don” next door to the Liverpool depot on Saturday. The beauty am l utility of the goods there shown will be sure to attract many people to the sale .
