In the House of Commons, Mr Lloyd George stated that the Versailles Conference had requested President Wilson to intimate to Germany that she could obtain the Allies’ conditions for an armistice from Marshal Foch or fiom a British naval representative. WASHINGTON November 5. Secretary Lansing has notified the Swiss Minister that United States has agreed to selecting Marshal Fbcli to receive the German armistice representatives. BOLSHEVIKS FOR PEACE. COPENHAGEN November 5. Petrograd reports state that the Bolshevik Government has issued a Note to the Allies requesting peace negotiations.
