ARAHURA fat stock sale. At the above Yards yesterday 90 head of cattle were passed and! the quality was good all round, especially the yarding of Private W. Smith, and rarely have better cattle been seen anywhere on the Coast than those submitted to auction yesterday. As was expected there was a marked drop in the price, beef being fully 10/- per hundred below late sales. There was not quite the same competition as at- previous late sales as several of the northern butchers have been operating at the Addington Yards. However at the prices riding yestrday graziers have not much to complain about. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold on account H. Karnbach, 3 bullocks at £l6/17/6; 1 Rollick at £l6/15/-; 2 Eulloeks at £l6/2/6; 2at £ls/15/-. On account of Mr .T. Hiedrichs, 2 Bullocks, at- £l6/17/6 ; 1 at £l6/5/-; 3 _ at £ls/15/-; 2 at £ls/12/6; 5 at £l4/17 6, •'0 at £11; 2at £l3/10/- v 3 at £l2. On account of Dir DY. 11. Karnbach, 2 Bullocks at. £l6/17/6; 2 at £l6/2/6 ;1 at £ls/15/-. On account of Dir DV. DTorgan (privately), 12 head cattle (stores), from £8 to £l2/10/-. Dlessrs G. DD . DEoss and Co., sold on account of Private Smith, 1 prime Show Bullock at £29/ (purchased by Lock and Morris); 2 at £26/17/6; 1 at £26/5/-; 1 at £25/-10/-, 2 at £24/7/6, 2 at £24/5/-; 2at £24; 2 at £23/2/6; 2 an £22/10/-, 3 at £2l/15/-, 2 at £2O/2/6, averaging £23/16/6. On account Mr Jae. Nolan, 1 fat cow at £l7/12/6; i Bullock at £l4/-, 21 Heifers from £l417/6, to £l2/15/-.
