A FLUTTER IN THE HOUSE.
A flutter was caused in the House of Representatives by Mr J. Vigor Brown, M.P. for Napier who gave notice to ask the Prime Minister “whether before lie loft London he had arranged that the Hon. A. Myers, (Minister for Advertising and Munitions), phould receive the honour of knighthood when the New Year's honours "'ere being distributed?”
The Prime Minister protested, and said that the question asked by the hon. member for Napier should not go on the Order Paper. It was a very improper question, and cast an offensive reflection upon one of his colleagues in the Ministry.
