THE AUSTRIAN RETREAT
LONDON, Oct. fi. The Austrians in Albania are retreating in considerable disorder before the Italians. They are also blowing up their dopots.

BULGARS SURRENDER, LONDON, Oct. 6.
An Italian eastern report states. In Macedonia, the Bnlgars facing our positions surrendered at Sop on the Mon-astir-Kicovo Road. The surrender began on Thursday. So far 191 officers (two whereof are brigade commanders) and 7218 of other ranks have been captured. We also took eight guns and seventy machine-guns, and other material.

General von Maekensen has renounced the oecupatiin of tho Dobrudja which was in Bulgaria’s occupation and has retired to the Danube.
Swiss reports of the first fighting in Serbian territory, occupied by the Austrians with belated Austro-German reinforcements. These proved insufficient. Tt is expected that the enemy will be able only to consolidate on the DanuboSavejor front.
