1. The Chairman to move :—“That the accounts for the month of August, 1918, as revised and passed for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £B6l 8/7, be approved and confirmed,” 2. The Chairman to move:—“ That the accounts for the month of September, 1918, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £ , be passed for payment.” S. The Chairman to move : “That Gustav Haussmann be appointed valuer of mining property within the Comity of Westland for the coming year; remuneration £6O for the service.” 4. The Chairman to move :—“ That the Council consent to the taking of portion of section 762, Block VII, Mt Bouar S.D., to afford necessary access to Evans’ Creek bridge, Main South Road, under Section 11 of the Land Act, 1908, as indicated on the plan now before the Council, and with the consent of the owner and occupier endorsed thereon, and that, the common seal of the Council be affixed to the statutory plan in the presence of Mr Duff and the mover.” 15. Air Bruce to move : —“ That the resolution of the Council passed on July 2nd, j 917, embodying certain retrenchment proposals recommended by the Treasurer, be now rescinded.”
