PAKAPOO IUID. AUCKLAND, Sep. 30. ! The police on Sunday aftcrnnon raided Chinese premises in Wakefield street, alleged to be used as a gaming house, and arrested 41 Chinamen, and seized a large quantity of coins used in the play, marked pakapoo tickets and a complete plant for running a.pakapoo lottery. The arrested men had £362 in their possession, one man having £lO2 and another £O6. FINED £IOO. AUCKLAND, Sept. 30. At the Police Court, Fong Hen was convicted of keeping a gaming house, raided yesterday, and fined £IOO.
