OITERANGI PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Koiterangi Patriotic, Committee was held on Monday night to wind up matters in connection with the recent Jumble Sale, etc., held in aid of the Copper Trail Fund. The gross proceeds from all sources reached the highly satisfactory amount of £8.3 10s. About £BO nett "’ill go to the Fund for which the money was raised, adding 640 yards to the long, long trail. The Committee desire, to thank all those young ladies who so ably assisted by canvassing for donations, the ladies who provided for, and so creditably managed the refreshment department ; the musicians for their assistance ; Mr- Houston for the sale of goods by auction; and all concerned for their efforts in making the event the most successful of its kind ever held in the district.
