Advices from Petrograd states that it is estimated that the Bosheviks have killed a total of 10,000 in Petrograd. In one day they ordered the execution of 72 officers without specifying their names.
A number of British and French officers have taken refuge in the Amerioon consulate, under Norway’s protection. The Bolshevik’s have posted guards round the building and demanded the surrender of tile officers, hut they have not entered the Consulate. ENVOY LEAVES BRITAIN. LONDON, Sept 25. M. Litvinoff. the Soviet representative in London., accompanied bv fiftyfour of his compatriots, is leaving London for Russia to-night. RUSSIAN NEWS. (Received this day at L3U p.m.) LONDON, September ' Advices from Moscow states a revolutionary tribunal condemned to atli the former War Minister Deolivanoff. Another message states the terrorist dccreci was rescinded by Lenin and a majority of the Central committee de cidcd to return to what is described as “good methods” of the revolution.
