Over forty thousand Turks have already been captured in Palestine, with 265 guns. FOURTH TURKISH ARMY. NEW YORK. Sep. 26. The Fourth Turkish Anny has been surrounded east of the Jordan, and >s in danger of annihilation. FURTHER SUCCESSES. NEW YORK, Sep. 26. The British in Palestine have occupied Tiberias and Somokli, east or t.ic Jordan. They have captured Ammon. The total British casualties in Palestine do not exceed four thousand. ‘ ALL GUNS CAPTURED. LONDON, Sept. 25._ It is understood that a total of 256 Turk guns have been captured. This number represents practically the whole of the artillery of the two captured Turkish armies. CRITICAL TURKISH POSITION i / LONDON, Sept. 25. The Turks on the east side of the -river Jordan have now been cut into two sections. Both sections are cut off from the Turkish’ base at Damascus. The Turkish centre, near Mann, is threatened by the British advance on Ainaan. Its position is critical.

A Palestine communique reports our cavalry oeupied Tiberias, Semakh. Essumara, on the, shores of Lake Tiberias. Despite a determined resistance, east ward of the Jordan, cavalry occupied Amman and are pursuing the 1 urki along the Iledjaz railway. Our asualties since the 18th September are below one tenth of the number of prisoners taken.
