A LAST EFFORT. (United Service Telegrams). Received, {his dav at 9 45 a.m. LONDON, Sep. 15. Information has reached Loudon that the German Admiralty, in view of the outbursts of the public in denunciation over the failure, to interetere with the American transports, has ordered t-lie submarines to make a supreme effort to destroy the troopships.
WHAT HE CAN’T TELL. (Received This Day at 11.15 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, September 15. Schcor told the members of the Reichstag: “I have no doubt for a moment but we shall bring England to negotiations by means of the submarines ) but I must decline to fix the date.”
AFRICAN LINER TORPEDOED. (Received This Dav at 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15. The Galway Castle has been torpedoed. , Hon. Burton, one of the South African delegates to tho Imperial War Cabinet was aboard and was saved. Fully 12() passengers are missing, ineluding Air. Burtine ,a legislator.
