A French official report states Noyon was captured, and eastwards a footing has been gained on the slopes of Mortaine Simmon, capturing Landremont, Morlincourt. Progress was made on the Oise Aisne fronts. THREE FRENCH ARMIES. SWEEPING ON IN CLOSE COORDINATION. (Received This Dav at 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, August 29. French Headquarters reports that: Three French Armies are sweeping on in close co-ordination. General Humbert’s at ten this morning captured Noyon, General Mangin’s crossed the Oise for the first time and occupied Morlincourt on the left bank, and General Debeney’s captured Quesnov Wood.
