i BOROUGH OF HOKITIKA. | j ATOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN j that the Hokitika Borough Council will at an ordinary meeting to be | held at the Town Hall, Hokitika, on FRIDAY, the 13th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1918, at 7.45 p.m., make and levy tho following RATES (on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properly within the Borough of Hokitika), for tho period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1918, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1919, namely: A GENERAL RATE under Section 78 of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” and Section 48 of “The Rating Act, 1908,’’ of 4gd in the pound. A SEPARATE RATE under Section 41 of “ Tho Hospitals and Cliarit

able Institutions Act, 1909,” of 3j|cl in the pound; such rate being required to meet the contributions payable by the Hokitika Borough Council to the Westland Hospitals and Charitable Aid Board.
