“ RASPUTIN ” TO-NIGHT
To-night Pollards will present in the Princess Theatre the seven-act story of “ Rasputin,” the Black Monk. The strangest figure in possibly the whole world’s history' is the character of Rasputin, the one time object of contempt of his Siberian village, until his title of Black Czar was whispered throughout Russia. In this great world film masterpiece, featuring J une lilvid ge, Arthur Ashley, Montague Love and Irving Cummings, the secret of his power over women which helped his rise is revealed and the merciless revelation is the real historical truth. Nothing can be said which is too high praise for the drama as a play 7. Expense was not studied in the making of the picture and the full pomp and splendour of the Russian Imperial ■ court is shown with all the wanton conduct hidden within its walls. “ Burned Records,” the sth chapter ol the serial, “ A Lass in the Lnmberlauds,” supports the star ieature.
