TRIAL HURDLES—Jeannot 1, Tornea 2, Master Boris. Sor. Turehua, and Vasconia. Won by three lengths, third half a length away. Time 3.232. GRAND NATIONAL HURDLES Kauri King 1 Sir Solo 2 Art J All started. Kauri King took charge before the last hurdle and won easily by three lengths, third four length,s. away. Time 1.382. AVONHiEAD HANDICAP —Hastio. Silver and Black 2, Jingo 3. Scr Ardmore and Whiro. Won by a length Time 1.16. J. NATIONAL STEEPLES.—St. Elim Is Waimai 2, Master St rowan 3. Won by two lengths. Time 7.135.
