Messrs M. Houston and Co report as follows: —Wo held a highly successful sale of dairy stock at the Kokatahi Sale Yards yesterday, when Mr Frank Wall’s herd was disposed of at very satisfactory prices. Owing to the inclement weather, there was not a large attendance, but buyers were represented from all parts of Westland, and competition was keen throughout. We sold 2 springers at £ls 15s, 5 at £l4 15s. 3 at £l3 10s, 5 at £l3 ss, 4 at £l3 10s, 3 at £l2 10s, 4 at £lO 7s 6d, 1 at £.lO, 1 fat cow at £lO 12s Oil, 1 heifer at £9 17s Od, 2 at £ 8 ss, 1 red polled hull at £24, 4 red polled heifers at £B, 4 do. at £6 17s 6d, 4 at £6; also for clients, 2 old dry cows at £l, 1 springer at £l2.
