AIR REPORT.
(Received This Day at 9.50. a.m.) LONDON, July 20.
General Haig’s aviation report states to-ward’s evening of 23rd. July, tho sky cleared permitting air fighting. Twenty four tons of bombs were dropped at night time on the railway in Valenvieutios salient, Courtroi and Armentieros. Various billots and two trains were hit. Aeroplanes fired a thousand machine-gun rounds at targets including anti-aircraft guns, search lights and transport.
