WELLINGTON, This Day. New- regulations have been issued governing the Press censorship. ■ It empowers the Attorney-General if he deems it necessary for the preservation of public safety during the war, to notify the proprietor, publisher, editor or printer of any periodical, or publication that no issue of that publication be permitted until it is submitted to the Censor. . No matter specified in any notice is to be printed until it is submitted t-o the Censor and advised by him. Unless otherwise provided for, all matter submitted for the Censorship shall be forwarded to the Chief of General Staff at Wellington. If any matter that should he submitted for eon sorsbip is printed, without submission to, or approved by the Censor, the printer shall he guilty of an offence. No person shall print a prohibited publication, or have possession of a copy thereof for delivery to other persons.

Nothing relating to tho present war shall he printed in anything hut a registered newspaper, unless submitted to the Censor. No person shall print or publish any statement that the matter herein has been altered, exorcised or added to by the Censor, or that anything has been required to be submitted to the Censor. or that Censor lifts refused authority for publication.
