McMahon and Lee, auctioneers Reefton, report having held their usual sale fixture at the Tnangahua Junction sale yards on Monday 22nd instant; a full attendance of buyers were present. Competition was spirited for all stock yarded and practically a total clearance was affected under the hammer. Beef showed a sharp rise compared with recent sales, and fat sheep wore in short supply. Sales were; 1 fat bullock £l6/7/6, 4 at £ls/2/6, 6 at £l4/12/0, 1 at £l2, 1 fat cow £l3/i7/6, 2 at £lO/7/6, 1 at £B/15/-, 2 fat heifers at £l2/17/0, 2 at £l2, 3 at £9'l2/6, 2 at £9/7/6, 1 at £B, 1 springer at £l4/2/6, 1 at £l2, 3 at £lO/17/6, 1 at. £lO/16/- and 1 at ! £7/10/-. • Fat Sheep:— 21 mixed ewes and wethers at 30b.; 20 light wethers at 275.
