(Received this clay at 12.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 19. It is officially announced that the troopship llarunga, formerly the German boat Sumatra, was torpedoed and sunk in European waters. All aboard were saved. Reuter announces one casualty. BARQUE SUNK. WASHINGTON, July 17. The Navy Department announces that the Norwegian barque Marosa was submarined nnd sunk in mid Atlantic. The crew were saved.

(Received This Day at 9.15 a.m.) - MONTREAL. June 19. The American steamer Wart-over was torpedoed in European waters. Ten persons are missing.
