They entered ’ the ambassador’s room, where Roigler, secretary to the Legation, and a German officer were in attendance. One stranger fired two revolver shots, hitting Mirbach in the head. The other threw three bombs, inflicting fatal injuries. The. murderers escaped by a window. Reigler and tile officer were uninjured. Volordarsky, the Bolshevik Government Press Commissioner, was killed by a revolver shot at Moscow. The murderer escaped.
