POLLARD’S PSGTURHS.
“THE MORAL FABRIC,”
TO-NIGHT
The solemn nonsense that is often talked about “ Free Love,” “ Affinities of Souls,” “Twin Souls,” etc, is fiercely exposed in “ The Moral Fabric,” a startling 5-act Triangle play, the star feature in to-night’s display by Pollards in the Princess Theatre. A unique sort of revenge upon a, false wife is wreaked in “ The Moral Fabric,” the _ Triangle play where a foolish wife is led astray by a wealthy idler who preaches a fantastic theory of tree love. r lhe husband in this play does not threaten violence, but calmly allows the pair to go off together, taking care, however, that the seducer is compelled to marry the woman, lie follows later and wins back the lightly given affection of the woman, only to turn upon the pair the very theories that had originally been preached by them so that they could desert him. “The New Era Club ” is responsible for the downfall of the wile in “The Moral Fabric.” At this precious gathering, the doctrines of free love are gaily taught, and she absorbs them unresistingly. She is described as a “ shallow person who had never been young and could not grow np.
