Received, this day at 5.45 a.m. NEW YORK, July -! Seventy-five thousand persons will inarch at tho Independence Day celebrations parade, and include 42 races, and naionalities. There will be 1 floats and 123 bands, and two squadrons of battle planes will drop a million copies of the “Star Spangled Banner” on the paraders and sightseers. Britain will he represented by two floats in tin pageant for the first time in history. One will represent. England and the Col- ; onies, Dominions, Army and Navy, and the other will illustrate an incidentof the Battle of Jutland, when John Travers Cornwell, a sixteen year old boy ; served a gun alone on the Chester, until he was mortally wounded.

Allied nations will have representatives on the reviewing stand. The parade will march up Eifth Avenue.

Other celebrations will he held throughout United States in which citizens of Allied nations and subject nationalities of central powers will take part.

THE LAUNCHINGS

NEW YORK, July 4

Tho launchings to-day included the following—Eastern Shipyards, twelve ; Pacific, fifty-four; comprising twentyfour steel and thirty wooden. Chicago Lakes districts fourteen; Southern shipyards, twenty-two; other yards about 10.
