ft is with, regret that we record the death of Alina, the eleven-year old, and third daughter of Mr and Airs Alfred Keller of Hokitika, which took place yesterday afternoon at Westland Hospital, following an attack of appeitdiiolis. The little one was only taken ill on Wednesday last and was operated on on Friday. Her throughout was grave, and for the last two or three days very slight hopes were held out for her recovery, the end coming quietly as stated. To the bereaved parents and relatives the deepest sympathy will be extended by the. community, the taking a wav of such a bright young life so suddenly, being deeply deplored.
