GERMAN MESSAGES
LONDON, June 29.
A wireless German official message states that lively Anglo-French activity has taken place astride of the Somme. There was great enemy fire astride of Lys river and between Ballcul, liethune anj southward of the Aisne. We shot down thirty aeroplanes. •A wireless German official message states that there was lively enemy activity northward of the Scarpe, and uu the Somme, westward of Soissons and north-westward of Ilheims. The enemy’s observers were again seen on the Rheims Cathedral. Wo repulsed a second enemy attack northward of St. Mihiel. We shot down five enemy aeroplanes in the past two days, which were raiding Karlsruhe, Offenburg, and the industrial region of Lorraine. Our bombing squadrons attacked Paris and railway junctions and aerodromes on route.

A Wireless German official report says three British assaults against Morris broke down. The enemy penetrated Vieux Berquin, hut were thrown back by a counter-attack. We repulsed the French near Ambleny, but they gained ground beyond Cutrv. Our counter-attacks threw them back on the heights bn both sides of Cutrv.
