MARY MILES MINTER AND “ THE IRON CLAW,” THURSDAY.
On next Thursday evening Pollards will present in the Princess Theatre the beautiful play “ Periwinkle,” starling the dainty artist Mary Miles Miriter in the role of a shipwrecked girl who grows up to be a beauty. This splendid picture will be supported by “ The Unmasking of Davy,” the 16th chapter of “ The Iron Claw.” “Periwinkle” is the human story of a baby saved from a wreck who grows into a beauty. Then conies into her life another, a society ne'er-do-well, a satiated man ot pleasure, who thinks to use the girl for but the moment’s idle amusement. Her innocence and beauty transforms him, but only after many dark hours of misery and doubt. Special mention should be made of the astounding photography of the coast and surf scenes. “ The Unmasking of Davy,” the lGtli chapter of “ The Iron Claw,” features a great battle betw'eeu Legar’s men and The Laughing Mask.
