IN MEMOBIAM. WILLIAMS.—In loving memory of my clear wife, Winifred Maude, who died at Hokitika, on 25th June. IS>l7. It’s sad, yet its true, we cannot tell why The good .are the first that are called on on to die; In heaven we trust we shall meet her some day, For death is a tribute we all have fo pay. Swift and sudden was the parting Taken away without a sigh; We never thought her life was failing, Or her end was drawing nigh. (Inserted by her loving husband and daughter, J. J. Williams and Daphne.)
