[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT; I ENEMY RAID REPULSED. LONDON, June 22. Enemy raids in the region of Bello and Upper Alsace were repulsed. An enemy post south-east of St Maur was captured.

GERMAN LOSSES. PARIS June 22. The examination of prisoners reveals terrible German losses. The 253rd Battalion only mustered men per company after the Mont Didier Battle, thirty men of each company were killed by French aviators, flying low, in other units there was a loss oi 5 per cent ,and all their machine-guns lost and two-thirds of their officers.

After the battle, von Hutier reprimanded the officers of the lOSth Division which lost '3,000 saying that the losses were excessive, and the non-coms for not maintaining discipline. He added:—“lf they could not do better, they must abandon the hope of breaking through to Paris and Calais.”
