the betiiune attack. [ LONDON TIMES SERVICE-COPYRIGHT] LONDON, June 17. Ferric Robinson states that a successful British attack at Bethunc led to a hard all night struggle with bombs and bayonets. The light was especially fierce at La Fannerie where t ho Germans were posted in strong P° sllions. The enemy casualties totalled nearly 3,000. The whole position was occupied by dawn.
