FOUND AT NORTH CAPE. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.] Wem.inc.to x, June 11, . The Naval Adviser announces that the New Zealand mine sweeping trawleiß located an enemy minefield northwards o£ Cape Maria Van Dieman and the North Cape, about 10 miles from the shore, Two mines have been recovered and destroyed and a third, in all probability, has been located. Operations are continuing. The public are again warned that mines are liable to break a,way I and be washed on shore. Should any person find such an object, it should be reported at once to the nearest Naval Military Police or Customs Authority. It should not, in any way, be tampered with, beyond endeavoring to make sure it does not again float to sea. The appearance and type of mine that has been found at present is somewhat oval in shape, with five horns, two lifting bolts at the top end, and mooring arrangements at the base. The height is about 4ft Gin, and the diameter about 3ft.
