CACHES A SENSATION. [PEII PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.) (Received This Day, at 12.55, a.m.) j LONDON. June 10. ""The now star Nova Aquillae, has caused a sensation in the astronomical world. Derov, secretary of tho Antwerp Astronomical Society was tho first observer of the new star, the reward of fifteen years nightly observation which is ono of thirty new stars recorded since 132 before C'-hrist.
Dyson, Astronomer Koval, states the star in Aquiline is more brilliant than Nora Persei discovered in 1901, and is probably the most brilliant since Kiplers discovery in 1007. Some astronomers are of opinion the Nova Acquillae is a collision of meteric swarms, perhaps ono hundred million times distant as the sun, but it may only be an old star, suddenly brightened. They estimate tlio star began to shine in ttnreign of James I, and the light reached the earth on Saturday. Tho stay is visible; in daylight.
