LONDON, June 7. A Freuch communique states that nortli of Montdidier and west of Noyon we made several successful coup-de-mains, and took prisoners. North of the Aisn© we, by a night attack, captured the village of Le Port, west of Fontenoy.

South of the Aisne, we improved our positions south-west of Aniblez.

Between the Ourcq ayd the Marne w< continued local operations.

In the vicinty, of Verilly and La Pot eric we increased oar progress, and captured the village of Vinily, north of Clignon, also the woods east of the station at Villy.

At La Potcrie we also possessed the outskirts of this village. Further south the American troops gained ground on the front at Torcv. Bdlau, and Boulescbes. West of Chateau-Thierry a spirited attack gave us hill 204. Between the Marne and Rheims the British troops regained a footing in the’ village of Bliny, and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy.
