FOOTBALL.
Tho first match of the football season for the southern division of tno junior cup w ill be played on Lass Square to-morrow afternoon comnienciiiir at three o’clock sharp. Mr. vt ■ Pritchard will referee, tho teams bein" from the two locally formed dubs, the Kiwi and Excelsior. In the several "ames played lately good form has been 'shown and to-morroiv’s contest should be an oven better one. A collection will be taken upon the ground which will go to the funds of the two clubs, which are .worthy of the support of the general public, so as to help the old game along again.
