The total raised by the Overseas Club over the world for this fund is now over The Westland contribution appears in a very creditable position in relation to the central fund, and Headquarters continue to express grateful thanks for the regularity with which local contributions are sent forward month by month. The gifts distributed as a result of these contributions are sent to all battlefronts where New Zealanders are engaged, and continue to be very gratefully received by the men who appreciate the kind remembrances from the homeland.
The June lists are open now as usual in the several centres, and a continuance of the past support is invited. Last month’s contributions went to theßritish naval patrol In the English Channel. This month’s donations will be devoted to the New Zealanders in the Far East, Egypt, Palestine and Mesopotamia.
