At Addington stock sales on Wednesday only a comparatively small number’ of fat pigs came forward, but the quality was very satisfactory, and there was a good all rouud demand. Quotations are: —Choppers £4/10/L> £8 • Extra heavy baconers to £6/18/-; Heavy baconers £5/10/- to £6; Lightei baconers £4/10 to £5/5; Equal to Bd. BJd- P er ,b ‘> Heavy porkers 70/- to 785.; Lighter porkers 555. to 655; Equal to 9Jd. °to 9Jd. per lb. The yarding of store pigs was a small one, but the demand was weak, prices being below the parity of last week’s values. Weaners sold well. A purebred Berkshire sow, iu pig, sent forward by Mr Geo. Gardner (Medburv) realiseu £ls/15/-. Quotaions are: —Best stores 50/- to 54/-; Medium stores 425. to 495.; Small stores 28s to 345; Weaners 17s to 235; Purebred Berkshire sows, in pig, £7/7/to £ls/15/-. Other Berkshire sows £4/4/- to £6/6/-; Boars £2/13/6 to £7/7.
