WASHINGTON, March 11. Senator Kenyon, who, l>efore a visit j to the front was a pacifist and could ! not believe in the German atrocities ; addressed a largo audienc at Baltimore, j Apologizing to the Rev. Dr Wroth, I who presiied at the meeting, the [ Jowa .senator declared that if Hell were turned upside down “Made in Germany’’ would be found stamped ou the bottom. He urged the people not to purchase goods made in Germany, and said he was positive that no good American would buy goods made by murderers under the direction of a ruler who ordered defenceless women and ehil dren to be slain.
“Let the Germans take their goods and go to Hell with them,” he shouted. “Do not do your bit, do vour damnedest.”
