SYDNEY, May 24. Empire Day was celebrated by a line display of bunting. A great procession of women carrying patriotic banners rallied in the Domain and solemnly convemuUed to work unceasingly until every man did bis duty. MILITARY SERVICE. MELBOURNE, May 25. Under the new regulation all minors enlisted without their parents’ consent below the age now fixed, are allowed to withdraw. .In Victoria, under the reduced age, the enlistment of minois has increased to Gl per cent, compared with 18 to 20 per cent previously. NO FRESH LOAN YET. MELBOURNE. May 25. Hon. Mr Watt says that there is no intention to raise a new war loan immediately.
